Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour (based on experience)

Job Summary

A local company in the Houma area is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining company records and databases while ensuring information is complete and organized.

Responsibilities

• Enter and update data into company systems accurately and efficiently
• Review documents for errors and discrepancies
• Maintain electronic and paper filing systems
• Verify and correct data as needed
• Prepare reports and spreadsheets using Microsoft Office programs
• Answer phones and assist with general office duties when needed
• Communicate with team members to ensure records remain current and accurate
• Perform other administrative tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous data entry or office experience preferred
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
