Data Entry Specialist

Job Summary

The position involves primarily seated work with intensive and constant data entry into a data system. The role requires transporting cartons of documents between a pallet and a computer workstation approximately every 5-7 minutes. Cartons weigh between 30-50 lbs and may need to be carried up to 20 feet. The height for handling cartons ranges from 13” to 45”. Protective footwear meeting ASTM F2413-11 standards with a slip-resistant rating of "Better or Best" is required.

Responsibilities

• Pull individual medical files from storage boxes, identify required data fields, and enter information into the database.
• Carry one box at a time to the workstation, enter data, and return files to the box for storage on the pallet.
• Maintain a consistent high frequency of keystrokes (10,000 kph) with 100% accuracy, verified by 'double key' verification.
• Lift and lower cartons from/to pallets and workstations, with cartons weighing 30-50 lbs, at a frequency of one box every 5-7 minutes.

Qualifications

• Ability to carry cartons weighing 30-50 lbs for distances up to 20 feet, frequently.
• Presentable and appropriate attire for the working environment is required.
• Must be a U.S. Person to meet ITAR regulations.

Work Schedule

Normal work schedule is 5 days a week, 9 hours a day, including a 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks.
