Job Overview:
Pay Range $110hr - $120hr
Requirement/Must Have:
- Strong knowledge of data retention regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience with data governance frameworks and data lifecycle management.
- Proficiency in configuring and managing data retention implementations.
- Analytical skills to identify retention gaps and develop effective remediation plans.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- RIM - Records Information Management - Mandatory.
- ROPA - Records of Processing Activity - Mandatory.
Responsibilities:
- Data Retention Implementation Specialist will be responsible for executing data retention implementation and remediation activities.
- This includes analysing retention assessments and details provided by applications to ensure adherence to corporate policies and standards.
- The specialist will identify gaps or non-compliance issues related to data retention, and work with the application teams to design remediation plans to address these deficiencies.
- Additionally, the resource will be expected to make recommendations to improve data retention practices and minimize risks associated with the existing data retention process.
Nice to Have:
- Certifications applicable to data retention activities: IGP Information Governance Professional, CRM Certified Records Manager, CIP Certified Information Professional, CDMP Certified Data Management Professional, DGSP Data Governance & Stewardship Professional.
