Title: Data Analyst
Duration: 12+ months
Location: Richmond, VA
Salary Range: $45-50/hr on W2 without benefits
Introduction:
We are looking for an experienced professional to join our team within the Process Risk and Controls domain. The role involves supporting the Fraud, Disputes, and Internal Fraud business through data analysis, control monitoring, and risk management activities. The successful candidate will work with modern data platforms and leverage their expertise in SQL and Python to enhance and automate processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong hands-on experience with SQL, including complex queries and data analysis.
Practical experience with Python for data manipulation, scripting, and automation.
Experience working with Databricks for data processing, scripts, or automated reporting.
Familiarity with Snowflake for querying and accessing data tables.
Must have previous client experience working for this customer in the past 5 years.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
Knowledge of risk frameworks, process controls, operational risk, fraud, or disputes.
Experience supporting control monitoring, control testing, risk events, and remediation initiatives.
Experience migrating datasets, updating analytical scripts, or automating control execution.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and enhance SQL queries and Python scripts to support data analysis, business monitoring, and control execution.
Analyze fraud, disputes, and card-related datasets to support business decisions and risk management activities.
Collaborate with risk, controls, and business teams to translate analytical findings into actionable insights.
