Role and Responsibilities
- Convert data from legacy client systems to the new cloud-based investment management platform, ensuring accuracy through validation, troubleshooting, and reconciliation of differences between source and target systems.
- Collaborate with client stakeholders to understand, map, and interpret source data for migration and integration into the client environment.
- Support the overall migration process by identifying data issues, documenting solutions, and ensuring a smooth transition.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of financial instrument data and investment accounting concepts.
- Hands-on experience with SQL and major database management systems (MS SQL, Oracle, MySQL, Postgres).
- Proficiency with data integration or ETL tools and methodologies.
- Advanced MS Excel skills, including complex formulas, data validation, and reconciliation techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
