We are looking for an experienced Data Modeler to design scalable and businessaligned data models for enterprise data platforms The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders data architects engineering teams and application teams to translate business requirements into effective conceptual logical and physical data models

Key Responsibilities

• Work directly with onshore business and technology stakeholders to understand data requirements and business processes
• Develop and maintain Conceptual Logical and Physical Data Models
• Translate business requirements into appropriate entities attributes relationships hierarchies and data structures
• Design normalized and dimensional data models based on analytical and operational requirements
• Define and maintain data dictionaries metadata naming standards and modeling documentation
• Perform data analysis sourcetotarget mapping and impact analysis for new requirements and enhancements
• Work closely with Data Architects Data Engineers ETL teams BI teams and application teams
• Support data integration initiatives involving multiple source and target systems
• Identify data quality consistency redundancy and standardization issues and recommend appropriate solutions
• Participate in design reviews and ensure data models comply with enterprise architecture and governance standards
• Support model versioning change management and documentation throughout the project lifecycle
• Communicate design decisions dependencies risks and issues effectively to technical and business stakeholders

Required Skills

Strong experience in enterprise data modeling

• Handson experience with conceptual logical and physical data modeling
• Strong understanding of relational and dimensional modeling including Star and Snowflake schemas
• Good knowledge of database concepts SQL normalization denormalization keys relationships and constraints
• Experience with modeling tools such as ERwin ERStudio PowerDesigner or equivalent
• Understanding of data warehousing ETLELT data integration and analytics ecosystems
• Knowledge of metadata management data lineage masterreference data and data governance concepts
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholdermanagement skills
• Ability to independently conduct requirement discussions and design walkthroughs with onshore stakeholders

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake Databricks AWS Azure or similar platforms
• Exposure to modern data lakelakehouse architectures
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments
• Domain experience in automotive manufacturing financial services or other large enterprise environments would be an advantage

• Act as the primary datamodeling interface with business and technology stakeholders
• Lead requirement clarification and datamodeling discussions
• Coordinate effectively with offshore engineering and development teams
• Drive timely resolution of datamodeling dependencies and design clarifications
• Present models and recommendations clearly to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders
