    Description

    Job Summary: Data Network Telecom Specialist

    - Position Type: Contract to hire; must be eligible to convert to full-time employee (FTE)
    - Location: 100% onsite in Phoenix, AZ; local candidates only
    - Visa Sponsorship: Not available; must be eligible to work without sponsorship
    - Start Date: Must be able to start within 2 weeks of offer
    - Interview: Must be available for in-person interviews within 1 week of posting close date
    - Background Check: HireRight background check and drug screening required

    Required Experience:
    - 4+ years as a Cable Technician in digital computer systems, peripheral equipment, or telephone station equipment
    OR
    - 2+ years as a Lead Cable Technician

    Preferred Qualifications:
    - Education or technical training in electronics, telecommunications, or digital computer systems can substitute for 1 year of experience (from an accredited institution or recognized trade union/technical school)

    Key Responsibilities:
    - Schedule and coordinate repairs, installations, removals, and maintenance with contractors, vendors, and supported agencies
    - Initiate, coordinate, and complete new, upgrade, and repair projects for network equipment and sites
    - Supervise contractor/vendor resources on related projects
    - Install, remove, modify, maintain, repair, and inventory various communication and electronic equipment (e.g., routers, switches, video equipment, copiers/printers, public address systems, TVs, security alarms, cameras, remote access equipment)
    - Install, repair, splice, test, and terminate telecommunications and electrical wiring/cabling (copper, fiber, coax) to ensure proper connectivity and impedance matching
