Data Pipeline Engineer - Remote, Washington, DC

Seeking for a skilled Data Pipeline Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and maintaining ETL workflows and data pipelines. You will work on migrating legacy application data from MS SQL and Oracle environments into the Pega platform while ensuring alignment with IRS business rules and PGLD/RIM requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support data assessment, source-to-target mapping, transformation, cleansing, trial migrations, validation, reconciliation, cutover support, and post-migration issue resolution.
• Collaborate with developers, testers, business stakeholders, and teams to execute migration activities.
• Document migration strategies, mappings, scripts, and results.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure performance and reliability.
• Support deployment, cutover activities, and post-migration issue resolution.

Must-Have Skills:

• Experience in data engineering and data migration.
• Strong SQL and relational database skills.
• Proficiency in Informatica, Informatica S3 Connector, AWS CLI, Cloud (AWS), CloudBees Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, GitLab, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL, Tableau, TOAD, Linux.
• Bachelor's degree and 3 years of experience.
• Strong understanding of data mapping, transformation, and data quality processes.
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
