TRACK 2: PLATFORM & ARCHITECTURE

Job Title: Data Platform & Integration Architect

Overview
The Data Platform & Integration Architect will lead the design, evaluation, and implementation planning of enterprise data platforms and integration architectures. This role is critical in modernizing legacy environments while ensuring interoperability, scalability, and alignment with security and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and recommend cloud data platform solutions (Azure, AWS, GCP)
  • Conduct total cost of ownership (TCO) and platform evaluation analysis
  • Design enterprise data architecture and integration frameworks
  • Develop ETL/ELT pipelines and data engineering workflows
  • Define system interoperability strategies across enterprise systems (ERP, GIS, SCADA, CRM, etc.)
  • Lead proof-of-concept (POC) development and technical validation
  • Develop platform implementation roadmaps and migration strategies
  • Ensure security, privacy, and compliance alignment across all solutions
  • Create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and standards
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams
  • Support DevOps and CI/CD integration for data pipelines

Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years in data architecture, cloud platforms, or data engineering
  • Strong experience with integration across legacy and modern systems
  • Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools and cloud platforms
  • Experience with utility systems or complex enterprise environments
  • Deep understanding of data security, governance, and compliance frameworks
