Data Product / Domain SME
Own domain data definitions, business rules, and semantic accuracy across Gold layer assets.
Serve as the authoritative voice between business stakeholders and engineering teams on data meaning and usage.
Define and maintain data contracts, SLAs, and certified dataset criteria.
Drive Medallion layer promotion standards, including qualification criteria for Gold and Platinum layers.
Partner with the Catalog team (Alation) on business glossary and lineage documentation.
Lead C-level discussions on data product strategy, business value, and platform direction.
Create and deliver executive-ready presentations independently, without delegating to support staff.
