Data Product Specialist

Database USA creates and provides databases of US businesses, consumers, emails, and life events used for marketing, research, and integration into our customers' platforms and products.

Our data is our product.We are seeking a Data Product Specialist to own its quality, coverage, and growth by finding where it falls short and planning the improvements and additions that make it more valuable.This is not a reporting or dashboard role.

Duties:

• Inspect our databases to measure accuracy, completeness, and coverage.
• Identify gaps and opportunities, then plan and prioritize improvements and new additions.
• Evaluate new data sources and recommend which to add.
• Work with IT specialists to carry out data projects from start to finish.

Qualifications:

• Experience in the business or consumer data industry, ideally improving or expanding a database or data product.
• Understanding of postal addressing rules.
• In-depth knowledge of Excel and MySQL, and of practical statistics for evaluating data quality.
• Attention to detail, critical thinking, and a willingness to learn quickly.
• 2 year college degree (4 year preferred).
