Join Gartner as a Data QA Engineer and play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of enterprise data solutions. You will leverage your expertise in SQL, PySpark/Spark, and Python to validate data pipelines, data warehouses, and reporting systems. [Responsibilities]

• Design and execute comprehensive test strategies for ETL processes and data platforms
• Develop and maintain SQL and Python-based validation scripts for thorough data verification
• Perform source-to-target mapping and reconciliation to ensure data consistency and completeness
• Identify, document, and track data quality issues, working closely with engineering teams to resolve defects
• Support production readiness by validating transformations and performing regression testing
• Drive process improvement and automation in ETL and data quality assurance workflows
• Collaborate with data engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders to deliver reliable data solutions

[Required Skills and Experience]

• 5-10 years of hands-on experience in data QA, ETL testing, or data engineering
• Strong command of SQL and SQL Server for data validation and analysis
• Proficiency in PySpark/Spark for large-scale data processing and ETL validation
• Advanced Python scripting skills for automation and custom testing
• Track record of successfully validating enterprise data warehouses and reporting systems

[Preferred Skills]

• Experience with enterprise data platforms
• Exposure to data reconciliation tools
• Familiarity with CI/CD and automated testing frameworks
