Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst/Data Scientist to support enterprise database development, data integration, and data management initiatives. This role will collaborate with business leaders, technical teams, and stakeholders to define data requirements, develop database solutions, and implement reliable ETL processes. The ideal candidate combines strong database knowledge with scripting, troubleshooting, and analytical problem-solving skills to help organizations make informed, data-driven decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business leaders, technical teams, and stakeholders to define data requirements and determine effective approaches to data implementation, manipulation, storage, and analysis.

• Develop logical and physical database designs, including database descriptions, structures, and identifiers.

• Design, implement, automate, and maintain large-scale enterprise ETL processes.

• Modify and enhance existing databases and database management systems to meet evolving business and technical requirements.

• Work with programmers and other analysts to implement database changes and improvements.

• Test database structures and programs, identify and troubleshoot errors, and implement appropriate corrections.

• Apply database management best practices to support data quality, reliability, accessibility, and effective analysis.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.

• 810 years of applicable professional experience.

• Experience working with database technologies and database management systems.

• Knowledge of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.

• Experience with at least one scripting language.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Demonstrated troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

• A track record of professional success and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.

• Interest in working with data to support business analysis and data-driven decision-making.
