Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Data Scientist for a Contract with a client in Columbus, OH. The ideal candidate will build and optimize machine learning pipelines while ensuring reliable deployment, monitoring, and observability across cloud environments.

Rate Range: $56/Hour to $60/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Data Scientist Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable data science and machine learning solutions using Databricks and AWS cloud services.

• Build and maintain end-to-end MLOps pipelines, including CI/CD automation and model deployment processes.

• Develop and optimize data pipelines, SQL workloads, and cloud-based data platforms for high performance and reliability.

• Implement infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform to support secure and scalable cloud environments.

• Integrate Generative AI and large language model (LLM) solutions into business applications and workflows.

• Monitor system performance and ensure operational excellence through observability tools, dashboards, and proactive issue resolution.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 8-10 years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, and cloud-based data platforms.

• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Unity Catalog, SQL Warehouse, Terraform, Python, and AWS services such as SageMaker, ECS, Lambda, and EventBridge.

• Strong knowledge of MLOps, CI/CD pipelines, Generative AI technologies, and monitoring/observability frameworks.

Pay Details: $56.00 to $60.00 per hour
