Assessment 2025.Years of Experience: 8-12 YearsAbout PositionWe are seeking a skilled Database Administrator (DBA) with strong expertise in SQL Server and IBM DB2. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in TSQL, Performance Tuning, ETL, ARCHIVING, and Database Lifecycle Management. This role will support BigID onboarding, data governance, retention, archival, and deletion initiatives across enterprise healthcare systems.What You'll DoPrepare and onboard databases for BigID scanning and policy execution.Develop and maintain database objects, scripts, and automation processes.Support archival, retention, and deletion initiatives.Design database schemas, data models, and integrations.Monitor and optimize database performance.Ensure data security, compliance, backup, and recovery standards.Collaborate with application, analytics, and infrastructure teams.Mandatory SkillsStrong hands-on experience in MS SQL Server and DB2 on z OS.Expertise in TSQL, Stored Procedure, Functions, Triggers, Views, Indexes, and Packages.Database performance tuning, query optimization, locking, deadlock, and concurrency troubleshooting.Experience with ETL, Data Migration, Data Integration, and HCM Extract.Knowledge of ARCHIVING, retention, purge, and deletion processes.Database security, backup/recovery, replication, and Disaster Recovery.Preferred SkillsExperience with Azure SQL, Azure Blob Storage, and related Azure IaaS.Understanding of Data Governance tools such as BigID.Healthcare domain experience preferred.Expertise You'll BringThe successful candidate will bring a combination of technical expertise and a proactive approach to database management, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with data governance standards.
