Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize application databases. The DBA will be responsible for database administration, performance tuning, backup and recovery, security, troubleshooting, and supporting application development teams in an Agile environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience.

• Strong hands-on experience in Oracle Database Administration.

• Expertise in Oracle RAC, Single Instance, and SQL Server.

• Experience with Oracle Data Guard, backup and recovery, and database security.

• Strong knowledge of database design, performance tuning, optimization, and storage management.

• Experience with PL/SQL, stored procedures, packages, and database views.

• Experience with Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, and Oracle Application Server.

• Knowledge of Linux and Windows server environments.

• Experience with database upgrades, patching, and troubleshooting.

• Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and database version control.

• Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

• PostgreSQL, Amazon RDS, Amazon Aurora, and cloud technologies.

• Crystal Reports, JasperReports, and Business Intelligence tools.

• Java, .NET, XML, JSON, and application development support.
