Job Summary

Administers, tests, and implements computer databases, applying knowledge of database management systems. Manages complex data environments and collaborates within technical teams to design, implement, secure, and maintain enterprise-level databases.

Telework is not supported. Travel is not required. 

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provides SPIDER/RIPTIDE/NM.net troubleshooting, resolution recommendations, and manual updates (i.e., NDE- EP, NM.net, Integrated Logistics, and Afloat Modernization Planning System (AMPS)).
• Supports IWP baseline accuracy through SPIDER /RIPTIDE database inputs for modernization planning.
• Provides BLM support for the Engineering PTRB Integration. Examples of support functions include attending routine PTRBs, assessing and reporting on new systems, system-to-system dependencies, and capability-build system integration requirements.
• Provides technical input during program and design reviews, conferences, and technical working groups, including comments, questions, and recommendations related to installation management.
• Applies DoD and DoN acquisition best practices software, middle tier, and business system pathways appropriate to each acquisition program or project.

Qualifications and Skills

Required knowledge and years of experience

Must have at least ten (10) years of professional experience administering, testing, and implementing computer databases. Must have experience coordinating database changes. Must have experience implementing database security measures and safeguarding sensitive data. Must have experience operating independently or coordinating database development in team-based environments.

Salary

The minimum salary starts at $120,000 and the max is negotiable based on experience
