Day Shift Medication Technician

SUMMARY
The Medication Aide is one key employee in our Residential Care Facility Community.
This position has more responsibility with residents than any other. Med Aide in this
position must provide the facility with a continuous stream of information on resident
status needs and issues. Medication Aide must be alert to changes in resident needs and
medication, and inform the necessary parties of the changes as needed. They must be able
to clearly and concisely transpose/interpret physicians orders, this information is to
ensure proper action is taken so the resident receives accurate medication distribution.
The Medication Adie serves as the lead person during the shift and provides direction to
the facility care team when the Administrator is not present.
