Position Details

Calvin Christian Middle and High Schools have several important custodial positions available across our campuses.

We are blessed with wonderful school facilities, and maintaining them with excellence is an important part of creating a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our students, staff, families, and guests. We're looking for dependable, hardworking people who take pride in their work and would enjoy contributing to the GCCS community in a very tangible way.

Working Monday-Friday, approximately 4-5 hours per day during the school day, the daytime custodian provides custodial care for the high school and middle school, including classrooms, restrooms, common areas, event setup, and general building care.

Responsibilities

• Clean classrooms, restrooms, and common areas.
• Empty trash and recycling bins daily.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum flooring surfaces.
• Secure the building at shift conclusion.
• Report maintenance needs to the supervisor.
• Prep and set up for school events
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong reliability and punctual attendance habits.
• Ability to work productively with minimal supervision.
• Physical capacity to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Successful completion of a background check.
