Description
Presidio is seeking a DCN Network Engineer to join our team in Plano, TX, Charlotte, NC, or Malvern, PA. This is a hybrid position requiring three days on-site per week.
Hands-on network engineer responsible for the design, implementation, operation, and optimization of enterprise network platforms. This role focuses on day-to-day engineering, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of data center and remote connectivity networks, with deep practical experience in Cisco ACI, Nexus switching, packet analysis, network automation, and telemetry-driven operations.

Qualifications
Qualifications and Skills
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on network engineering experience in enterprise environments.
Strong practical experience with Cisco ACI and Cisco Nexus switching platforms. Proven ability to perform packet broker, capture and protocol-level troubleshooting in complex networks.
Working knowledge of network automation using scripting languages, APIs, and infrastructure-as-code concepts.
Experience using network telemetry, monitoring, and observability tools to drive operational insight.
Solid understanding of routing, switching, security, and high-availability network designs. Ability to troubleshoot complex, cross-domain network issues end to end.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical issues and solutions.
Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
