Description
Presidio is seeking a DCN Network Engineer to join our team in Plano, TX, Charlotte, NC, or Malvern, PA. This is a hybrid position requiring three days on-site per week.
Hands-on network engineer responsible for the design, implementation, operation, and optimization of enterprise network platforms. This role focuses on day-to-day engineering, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of data center and remote connectivity networks, with deep practical experience in Cisco ACI, Nexus switching, packet analysis, network automation, and telemetry-driven operations.

Qualifications
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on network engineering experience in enterprise environments.
- Strong practical experience with Cisco ACI and Cisco Nexus switching platforms.
Proven ability to perform packet broker, capture and protocol-level troubleshooting in complex networks. - Experience supporting remote connectivity solutions (VPN, secure access, hybrid connectivity).
- Working knowledge of network automation using scripting languages, APIs, and infrastructure-as-code concepts.
- Experience using network telemetry, monitoring, and observability tools to drive operational insight.
- Solid understanding of routing, switching, security, and high-availability network designs.
Ability to troubleshoot complex, cross-domain network issues end to end. - Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical issues and solutions.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
