Position Overview

As a Deal Execution Manager at Initio Capital, you will lead the execution of complex transactions, ensuring seamless structuring, negotiation, and closure of deals. You will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to guide key deals from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. The role requires strong leadership, project management skills, and the ability to navigate intricate deal processes while mitigating risks and optimizing outcomes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Transaction Execution: Oversee the execution of high-stakes deals, managing all phases from initial structuring to final closure. Ensure alignment across stakeholders and facilitate the efficient handling of complex transactions.

  • Negotiation and Structuring: Take charge of negotiating deal terms and structuring transactions to maximize value. Work closely with legal, financial, and other relevant teams to finalize agreements.

  • Client and Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, investors, and external advisors, ensuring clear communication and alignment on expectations and timelines.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including finance, legal, operations, and senior leadership, to ensure smooth execution and adherence to deadlines.

  • Due Diligence Management: Coordinate and lead due diligence efforts, ensuring all necessary information is collected and analyzed. Provide strategic recommendations based on due diligence findings.

  • Risk Management and Mitigation: Identify key risks throughout the deal process and develop strategies to address and mitigate these risks, ensuring a smooth transaction.

  • Deal Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and review transaction documentation, ensuring compliance and clarity in all agreements. Provide regular updates and detailed reports to senior leadership.

  • Post-Deal Integration: Manage post-transaction processes and ensure the integration of new deals or acquisitions aligns with business objectives.

  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and refine transaction execution processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.

  • 5-7 years of experience in transaction execution, M&A, investment banking, private equity, or similar high-stakes environments.

  • Strong expertise in transaction structuring, financial modeling, and deal negotiations.

  • Proven track record in managing complex deals from negotiation through to completion.

  • Project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in fast-paced environments.

  • Leadership capabilities, including managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with senior management.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with high-level stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex financial models and due diligence findings.

  • Familiarity with risk assessment and mitigation strategies in deal processes.
