The Go-to-Market Strategic Analytics team delivers advanced analytics, measurement, and decision support across Best Buy's non-retail, customer-facing experiences (Digital, Category, Marketplace, Services, and Support). This role sits within a team that supports both Support and Services, with a primary focus on Support and flexibility to shift into Services based on enterprise priorities. You will partner cross-functionally to address complex, high-impact customer and operational challenges, leveraging large-scale contact center, transcript, and operational data to drive enterprise-level improvements in customer experience, efficiency, and cost, while supporting broader strategic initiatives as business needs evolve. As a Decision Scientist, you will lead end-to-end analytical initiatives-framing ambiguous problems, synthesizing data across sources, uncovering root causes, and delivering insights that scale across the enterprise. You will apply advanced analytical and AI techniques to influence strategy, improve customer outcomes, and optimize performance, operating as a trusted partner who drives measurable, cross-functional impact.
This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work on site Monday through Thursday at the Best Buy corporate office in Richfield, Minnesota. You can work virtually from home or another non Best Buy location on Friday. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.

Basic qualifications- 3+ years of experience in retail, analytics, business, or related area
- 3+ years of experience applying analytical techniques to answer business questions or scientific questions
- 2+ years of experience using SQL and/or Python to analyze and transform data.
