As a Deli Specialist, you'll prepare fresh food, assist customers, keep food service areas clean and stocked, and help with daily store operations. If you're hardworking, enjoy working with people, and take pride in serving quality food, we'd love to meet you!

What You'll Do

Food Preparation & Service

• Prepare food items according to established recipes and quality standards.

• Follow pizza franchise recipes, preparation procedures, and product standards.

• Safely operate food preparation and cooking equipment.

• Keep food service areas stocked and ready for customers.

• Monitor product freshness, quality, and availability.

• Record food waste accurately and help maintain proper inventory levels.

Customer Service & Store Operations

• Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service.

• Assist customers with food orders, questions, and product recommendations.

• Operate the register and process customer payments.

• Follow cash handling procedures and complete assigned shift reports.

• Communicate customer concerns and food service needs to management.

• Help keep the store and food service areas clean, stocked, and organized.

Food Safety & Cleanliness

• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health requirements.

• Properly handle, prepare, and store food products.

• Clean and sanitize food preparation areas, equipment, and utensils.

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

• Follow company policies and food service standards.

What We're Looking For

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous food service, convenience store, retail, or customer service experience preferred.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Food safety certification (ServSafe® or equivalent) preferred.

• Reliable transportation to and from work.

Skills & Abilities

• Friendly, dependable, and customer-focused.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Basic math and cash handling skills.

• Strong attention to detail and food quality.

• Ability to multitask and stay organized.

• Willingness to learn and help wherever needed.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, including shifts of up to 8–10 hours.

• Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds.

• Comfortable working in coolers and freezers.

• Ability to safely operate food service equipment.

• Ability to work around cleaning products and occasional gasoline fumes.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
