The Delivery Account Service Representative plays a key role in supporting our customers by managing company inventory at their sites, delivering products, and processing quotes and orders to ensure their needs are met quickly and accurately.

The ASR partners closely with customers to understand both current and future requirements, providing valuable insights to the local sales team to help us capture new opportunities. In addition, this role supports warehouse operations as needed, maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring timely, reliable order fulfillment.

Essential Job Functions

• Daily travel to customer sites to make customer deliveries, unpacking and stocking products along with entering orders to ensure products are available when needed.
• Ensuring customer VMI’s are managed in alignment with Company Standard and ensures the company Brand is represented correctly; accurate, reliable, organized and clean.
• Managing quotes and order processes, collecting business intelligence and documenting activities into CRM, vendor management systems, the company OIS application on tablet devices, and ERP software.
• Build long-term relationships by becoming a trusted partner for vendor managed inventory, technical support and advice by providing the best possible service, solutions and training for customers.
• Identify and develop opportunities for new business by recognizing customer needs and suggesting appropriate solutions, providing the best possible service and solutions for customers.
• Work in partnership with Regional Account Managers, Business Development Associate, and Engineering teams to develop sales strategy and solutions tailored to customer requirements.
• Maintain yearly service program certifications.
• Participate in on-site projects that generate paid services revenue, offer technical services, troubleshooting, and solutions directly at customer locations.
• Support Branch activities at the Will Call Counter and in the Warehouse when not visiting customer sites.
• Other duties as assigned

• High school diploma required
• Experience with sales cycles is preferred
• Prior work with company products a plus
• Detail oriented with high level of accuracy
• Must be 18 years or older to operate a forklift
• Sitting for long periods of time as daily driving is required
• Ability to stand up to eight (8) hours a day
• Must possess sight/hearing senses to adequately perform the functions of the job
• Required to lift equipment and supplies up to fifty (50) pounds
• Mechanically inclined
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record and ability to safely operate company vehicle
• The position will require proficiency at the following EI (emotional intelligence) skills
• Teamwork and collaboration, self-awareness, organizational awareness, self-control, adaptability, transparency, initiative

• Highly skilled in operating logistic equipment (forklift, pallet jack) safely and efficiently
• Accurate and detailed oriented, with the ability to perform math calculations
• Proven record of maintaining a clean, neat, and orderly work area with strong organizational skills
• Demonstrates a willingness to understand, adhere, and own local company policies, procedures, strategies, and quality systems
• Self-starter, that possesses critical thinking skills, and takes the initiative to solve challenges; driven to achieve
• Written and verbal communication skills with the ability to provide clear and concise messaging
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize is essential
• Ability to work effectively in teams
• Self-motivated and driven to improve all facets of their performance and the company’s performance.

• Basic computer skills required
• Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
• CRM skills required
• Experience with an ERP system such as SAP is preferred
