Job Description

We're looking for a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team at our Grand Boulevard location in St. Louis. In this role, you'll be the face of our organization, ensuring that every delivery is completed safely, efficiently, and with a friendly demeanor. As a Delivery Driver, you'll play a crucial part in our success by maintaining our commitment to timely service and exceptional customer experiences.

• Operate a vehicle safely and efficiently to deliver products to customers throughout the St. Louis area
• Plan and execute delivery routes in an organized manner to maximize efficiency and meet delivery schedules
• Provide friendly and professional customer service at each delivery point, addressing any questions or concerns
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures, times, and any special instructions
• Inspect vehicle condition before and after each shift, reporting any maintenance issues promptly
• Handle packages with care, ensuring products arrive in excellent condition
• Navigate traffic and road conditions safely while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding delivery status and any obstacles encountered
• Build positive relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and customer loyalty
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior at all times

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older with a valid driver's license
• Must have a minimum of 2 years driving history (if 18 years old) or 1 year driving history (if 19 years or older)
• Must have access to an insured vehicle that meets company standards for delivery use
• Must pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check, meeting company-specific safety standards
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities
• Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds regularly
• Proficiency in reading maps and using GPS navigation systems
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to meeting delivery deadlines
• Physical capability to perform repetitive bending, lifting, and loading tasks
• Knowledge of traffic laws, road safety regulations, and defensive driving practices
• Ability to work independently while remaining responsive to team communication
• Flexibility to adapt to changing routes and delivery priorities
