Job Description

Were looking for a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team at our St. Louis location on Gravois Rd. In this role, youll be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering packages and goods to customers throughout the St. Louis area. Youll be the face of our organization, ensuring every delivery is completed on time and with exceptional customer service. This is a full-time position that requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to safety and reliability.

• Operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Plan and execute optimal delivery routes to maximize efficiency and meet daily delivery targets
• Load, unload, and transport packages and goods while maintaining product integrity
• Interact professionally with customers, collect signatures, and address delivery-related inquiries
• Maintain accurate delivery records, including proof of delivery documentation and route logs
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and report maintenance issues
• Meet strict delivery schedules and time windows while maintaining a professional demeanor
• Follow company policies and procedures regarding customer service, safety, and vehicle operation
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding delivery status and any issues encountered

Qualifications

• Valid drivers license appropriate for commercial vehicle operation
• Clean driving record with no major violations
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driving role
• Strong knowledge of traffic laws, road safety regulations, and defensive driving techniques
• Physical capability to lift, carry, and load packages weighing up to 50 pounds regularly
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to navigate using GPS and mapping systems
• Reliable transportation and punctuality
• Professional communication skills, both verbal and written
• Preferred: Experience with multi-stop delivery routes and route optimization
• Preferred: Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge
• Preferred: Experience with delivery management software or mobile applications
