Job Description
Were looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Delivery Driver to join our team at our Morris location (1735 N Division St). As a Delivery Driver, youll be the face of our company, delivering quality service and smiles to our customers throughout the community. This is an excellent opportunity to work independently while being part of a collaborative team that values efficiency, customer satisfaction, and professional excellence. - Safely operate a vehicle to deliver products to customers in assigned routes within Morris and surrounding areas
- Navigate routes efficiently using GPS and route optimization tools to maximize delivery productivity
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers professionally, answering questions, and handling transactions with accuracy and courtesy
- Maintain accurate delivery records, including customer signatures, delivery times, and any special instructions or concerns
- Inspect vehicle daily for mechanical issues and report maintenance needs promptly to ensure safe operations
- Handle products with care, ensuring items arrive in excellent condition and meet customer expectations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding delivery status, delays, or customer feedback
- Organize and manage delivery schedules to meet time commitments and performance goals
- Follow all traffic laws, company safety protocols, and vehicle operation guidelines consistently
- Build positive relationships with customers and represent the company brand professionally at every stop
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older with a valid drivers license
- Minimum 2 years of driving history with a clean Motor Vehicle Record meeting company-specific standards
- Access to a reliable, insured vehicle suitable for delivery operations
- Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record Check and criminal background check
- Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple deliveries
- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanor
- Proficiency with GPS navigation systems and basic route planning
- Reliable transportation and consistent punctuality
- Physical capability to safely load, unload, and carry delivery items
- Ability to work independently while maintaining communication with team members
- Valid proof of insurance for personal vehicle used for delivery purposes
- Preferred: Previous delivery or customer service experience
- Preferred: Familiarity with local Morris area roads and neighborhoods
