Delivery Driver

Location: Conyers, GA

Salary: $18 Hourly

Shift: 1ST Monday - Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm

As a Delivery driver at MGM Products Inc., you are responsible for driving company trucks to deliver products and pickup supplies. Must maintain contact (telephone) with the Warehouse Delivery Center to receive delivery and/or pickup instructions, and other general warehouse duties as assigned. Maintain lot organization and cleanliness, along with assisting in shipping and receiving. Must be handy with tools and mechanically inclined. Must be able to pass a DOT Physical.

Additional responsibilities will include:

• Picking up and delivering at set locations daily.
• Calling and preparing run.
• Loading, unloading, and operating a 24' Flatbed Truck (Boom lift).
• Maintaining safe operation and clean appearance by complying with company operational policies, procedures, and standards.
• Operating and maintaining vehicle in safe and clean condition.
• Receiving materials from suppliers and delivering to proper location.
• Loading and unloading trucks using a fork truck and telehandler.
• Making deliveries and picking up locally; packaging may require crate construction using pneumatic nail gun and saw.
• Interfacing with shipping and receiving personnel to ensure timely deliveries, including pulling orders, receiving, and putting away product.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Skills

• Maintaining a good driving record, forklift experience is a plus.

• Some computer skills preferred.

• Be able to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision.
• Ability to prioritize and organize workflow on a daily basis to accomplish required tasks.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Also includes working outdoors in elements/weather.
