Delivery Driver

Job Summary:

Delivery Driver is responsible for safely operating company trucks and vans to deliver products to assigned locations and customer residences in a timely and professional manner. This position will only drive in Florida. This position includes, but is not limited to, transporting goods, loading and unloading deliveries, completing required paperwork, and ensuring vehicle safety and compliance with all transportation regulations.

Must have open availability including weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers in a friendly, helpful, and professional manner.
• Safely operate company trucks and vans for scheduled deliveries and pickups.
• Load, secure, and unload products in a safe and efficient manner.
• Deliver products to customers and locations in a timely and professional manner.
• Follow all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and company safety policies.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and required paperwork.
• Ensure proper handling of products to prevent damage during transport.
• Communicate effectively with Management
• Report any vehicle issues, accidents, or delays immediately to management.
• Assist with warehouse or loading dock duties as needed.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by management.
• Must have flexible availability, including occasional weekends.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
  

Requirements:

• 4+ years of previous delivery or driving experience required
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A or B preferred).
• Very personable, great communication and fantastic customer service
• Strong knowledge of road safety rules and transportation regulations.
• Ability to safely operate delivery trucks, vans, and related equipment.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy items as required.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Good communication skills and professional customer service attitude.
• Ability to work independently and follow delivery schedules accurately.
