Delivery Driver

Summary: Primary responsibilities will be centered around safely preparing equipment for shipping and transporting between facilities in our client's panel building shop. In addition to transporting equipment between facilities you will also support shop operations.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare equipment for shipping, including labeling and updating electronic tracking databases as needed.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections (brakes, lights, tires, fluid levels); report any defects and coordinate repairs before departure.
• Maintain accurate trip logs, mileage records, fuel receipts, and electronic logs, as necessary.
• Transport equipment to various sites in a safe manner.
• Communicate proactively with teams to be pre-emptive in ensuring operations run smoothly.
• Follow assigned schedules and route plans, adjusting only as directed by on-site supervisor.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials and other shop duties.
• Keep the truck's interior clean and organized.
• Adhere to all DOT, state, and company policies.
• Perform other driver-related duties as assigned by the Fleet Manager.
