Job Responsibilities
- Safely operate a non-CDL flatbed truck to transport and deliver materials.
- Complete local deliveries throughout the Lake Charles area.
- Occasionally transport loads to Beaumont, TX, and Baton Rouge, LA.
- Secure and inspect loads to ensure materials are transported safely.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed.
- Verify delivery information and ensure materials arrive at the correct destinations.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate with dispatch or management regarding delivery schedules.
- Follow all applicable traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures.
Key Requirements:
- Previous truck driving or delivery experience preferred.
- Experience operating a flatbed truck is a plus.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred.
- Ability to safely secure, transport, and handle loads.
- Ability to follow delivery instructions and communicate effectively.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
