Position Summary:
The Delivery Driver Team Member will be part of the Chick-fil-A Somerset Collection North family and expected to represent the restaurant with the highest integrity, enthusiasm and excellent service. You must execute Chick-fil-A hospitality with our guests in a caring way, while in the restaurant and delivering food. Clear and excellent communication skills via our delivery app are required to help us meet guest’s expectations outside of the restaurant.
What Duties will you Perform:
- Deliver excellent customer experience consistent with brand expectations outside of the restaurant
- Greet customers when entering and leaving the premises
- Follow safe driving procedures
- Maintain a clean an organized delivery vehicle
- Provide live tracking updates for customers via Chick-fil-A Delivery app
- Work efficiently to meet daily production/timeliness goals
- Ensure packaging, food presentation, and quality is excellent for customer experience
- Follow hot and cold packaging requirements for delivery consistent with food safety standards
- Assist with restocking product, trash disposal, sweeping, and sanitizing tables
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and positive guest experiences
- Work as a team member in the restaurant when there are no outstanding deliveries
Qualification Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Have a valid, state-issued drivers license and reliable transportation
- Have valid car insurance
- Have a clean driving record for the past 2 years with no license suspension
- Reliable communication: must have updated IPhone or Android phone for app compatibility
- Strong commitment to guest satisfaction and restaurant quality standards
- Drive safe and obey the rules of the road
