Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Delivery Robot Coordinator to oversee the daily deployment, telemetry monitoring, and operational readiness of our semi-autonomous delivery robot fleet. In this role, you will ensure on-time delivery fulfillment, monitor fleet battery cycles and system health, and provide real-time remote teleoperation support when robots encounter complex real-world navigation scenarios.
The ideal candidate is punctual, highly accountable, and possesses strong spatial navigation skills. You must be able to react calmly and quickly to operational bottlenecks, apply technical workarounds, and collaborate with cross-functional support teams to maintain continuous fleet efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Fleet Deployment & Availability: Stage and dispatch delivery robots on schedule to meet customer fulfillment timelines and maintain optimal fleet availability.
- Remote Teleoperation & Assistance: Monitor live robot operations and take manual remote control of units during complex navigation challenges or blocked path scenarios.
- Health & Battery Monitoring: Track real-time fleet telematics, system status, and battery levels to ensure maximum operational uptime.
- Technical Issue Resolution & Triage: Identify, log, and troubleshoot hardware/software anomalies using established technical workarounds; escalate unresolved issues to technical support teams.
- Order Fulfillment Support: Respond to incoming operational tickets, order alerts, and robot performance reports to ensure seamless customer delivery experiences.
- Documentation & Escalation: Maintain precise logs of order exceptions, hardware issues, and field incidents for ongoing continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Navigation & Map Literacy: Excellent spatial awareness with strong map-reading, GIS, and navigation skills.
- Operational Readiness: High punctuality, dependability, and accountability in managing live, customer-facing autonomous operations.
- Problem-Solving & Agility: Strong troubleshooting ability with a proven track record of making fast, effective decisions in dynamic operational environments.
- Technical Communication: Proficient written and verbal English communication skills to interact with internal teams, read technical documentation, and document incident reports.
- Shift Availability: Ability to work the 6:00 PM 2:00 AM evening/night shift on either a Saturday Wednesday or Wednesday Sunday schedule.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with remote-control (RC) systems, gaming controllers, or joystick-based teleoperation interfaces.
- Prior experience in fleet management, logistics coordination, dispatching, or autonomous vehicle support.
- Exposure to ticket-tracking platforms and cloud-based fleet monitoring dashboards.
