DELIVERY TECHNICIANPosition SummaryThe Delivery Technician is responsible for the safe delivery, setup, installation, and pickup of merchandise while providing excellent customer service in customers’ homes and maintaining Company vehicles and warehouse organization. Essential Job Functions - Load, secure, transport, and protect merchandise in Company vehicles
- Deliver, install, and set up products professionally in customers’ homes
- Operate Company vehicles in a safe and defensive manner
- Verify customer information and obtain required documentation and signatures
- Collect authorized payments according to Company procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and safe operation of Company vehicles
- Organize warehouse and backroom inventory
- Assist with assembly, cleaning, and preparation of merchandise
- Follow delivery schedules and complete required paperwork accurately
- Provide professional customer service during all customer interactions
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Qualifications & Skills - Professional communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of appliance, electronics, and furniture setup preferred
- Strong driving and navigation skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Dependable and safety-focused work habits
Physical Requirements - Ability to safely move, load, transport, and position heavy merchandise with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to regularly lift, push, pull, and maneuver merchandise
- Ability to safely enter customer homes and navigate stairs and tight spaces
Requirements - Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record required
- Ability to successfully complete lawful pre-employment screenings in accordance with Company policy and applicable law
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required
- Availability to work Saturdays as scheduled
