At Michael Grasso DDS, our Dental Assistants play an important role in creating a comfortable, welcoming, and positive experience for every patient.

You'll work closely with our experienced Lead Dentist and supportive team to help appointments run smoothly while ensuring patients receive exceptional care.

Your day may include:

• Providing chairside assistance during a variety of general dentistry procedures.
• Preparing treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient appointments.
• Supporting patient comfort and communication throughout visits.
• Following OSHA sterilization and infection control protocols.
• Maintaining accurate patient records and assisting with digital charting.
• Helping with scheduling and light administrative responsibilities as needed.
• Keeping treatment rooms organized, stocked, and ready for patients.
• Working collaboratively with clinical and administrative teammates.
• Jumping in wherever needed to help keep the practice running smoothly.

MEET YOUR TEAM

You'll be joining a dedicated dental team that includes:

• One Experienced Lead Dentist
• One Practice Lead
• One Full-Time Registered Dental Hygienist
• One Full-Time Dental Assistant
• Additional temporary hygiene support as needed

Our team is cross-trained and works together to provide excellent care while keeping the workday organized, productive, and enjoyable!

TECHNOLOGY & LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES

Our practice utilizes advanced dental technology to support high-quality, patient-focused care.

You'll have the opportunity to gain experience in a practice equipped with technology such as:

• TRIOS and CEREC digital scanners
• CEREC same-day crown technology
• Digital X-rays and CBCT imaging
• Intraoral cameras
• Dental laser technology
• Digital charting and modern clinical equipment

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're looking for someone who brings a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and genuine passion for dentistry.

• Experience providing chairside assistance with a variety of general dentistry procedures.
• Missouri dental X-ray certification preferred.
• Coronal polishing and sealant certifications preferred, but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR certification.
• Knowledge of OSHA sterilization and infection control protocols.
• Comfortable with dental charting, scheduling, and general computer applications.
• Excellent communication and patient service skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy dental environment.
• Dependable, friendly, and team-oriented attitude.
• Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and help in different areas of the practice.

Wednesday: 6:45 AM – 5:30 PM
Thursday: 6:45 AM – 4:30 PM
Friday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (Flexible)
