Graham Family Dental Care in South Puyallup is looking for a skilled, friendly Dental Assistant to join our growing team. Compensation: $22–$24/hour

Schedule (5 days/week)

• Monday: 9 AM – 5 PM

• Tuesday: 10 AM – 6 PM

• Wednesday: 9 AM – 5 PM

• Thursday: 10 AM – 6 PM

• Alternating between Fridays and Saturdays: 8 AM – 2 PM

What You’ll Do

• Prepare operatories and sterilize instruments

• Assist the dentist chairside using four-handed dentistry

• Take x-rays and intraoral photos

• Enter treatment plans accurately based on the doctor’s diagnosis

• Educate patients and give post-operative instructions

• Complete dental charting and coding

• Handle lab duties, including pouring models, taking impressions, and fabricating temporary crowns

• Help with administrative tasks such as answering phones, calling labs, and making patient follow-up calls

• Stock supplies and maintain equipment

• Accurately document and protect patient health information

What You’ll Bring

• CPR/BLS certification (required)

• DANB certification (required for Washington State)

• Radiology certification (required)

• Completion of an accredited dental assisting program (preferred)

• Solid knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments

• Experience with dental software such as Open Dental or Dentrix
