Dental Assistant

We are looking for a dependable, patient-focused Dental Assistant to support our dental team in providing quality care and a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during patient examinations and treatments.

• Prepare patients, review health information, and document treatment in patient records.

• Provide oral hygiene education and post-operative instructions as directed.

• Take dental X-rays and maintain required radiography certification.

• Sterilize instruments, disinfect equipment, and follow infection control and safety procedures.

• Maintain dental supplies, prepare instruments and materials, and assist with scheduling and front office duties.

• Assist with dental impressions, study casts, and removable appliances.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Dental assisting education or related experience preferred.

• State of Michigan Dental Assistant certification preferred but will train.

• Required radiography training certification. We can train & provide certification.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.

• Valid Michigan driver's license
