A dental practice is seeking a Dental Assistant to support dentists and the clinical team in providing efficient, high-quality patient care. The role involves chairside assistance, patient preparation, diagnostic support, infection control, and maintaining an organized clinical environment. This opportunity is well suited for a Dental Assistant who values teamwork, patient care, and continued professional development.
Assist dentists with a variety of dental procedures
Prepare patients and operatories before and after appointments
Take dental X-rays and support diagnostic procedures
Obtain and document patient medical histories
Assist with patient charting and treatment documentation
Take dental impressions and bite registrations as needed
Perform digital intraoral scans when required
Prepare, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and pre- and post-treatment care
Support smooth patient flow throughout the practice
Maintain infection control and workplace safety standards
Collaborate with dentists and other team members to provide quality patient care
Perform additional clinical and administrative duties as needed
Active Registered Dental Assistant license or applicable credential
Current CPR certification
At least 6 months to 1 year of dental assisting experience preferred
Knowledge of dental procedures, infection control, and sterilization practices
Ability to perform or assist with dental radiography as permitted by applicable requirements
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Organized, dependable, and attentive to detail
Willingness to learn and develop additional clinical skills
