Preferred Search Group is partnering with a privately owned dental practice to find a compassionate and motivated Dental Assistant to join their growing team. This full-time opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and is passionate about providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide chairside assistance during a variety of dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and patients for treatment
- Take and review medical histories and vital signs as needed
- Expose dental radiographs (state certification required)
- Take and pour dental impressions
- Clean, disinfect, and sterilize instruments in accordance with OSHA guidelines
- Turn over operatories efficiently between patients
- Maintain inventory and assist with ordering dental supplies
- Educate patients on treatment and post-operative care
- Accurately document patient information using practice software
Schedule
- Full-time
- Monday–Friday
- 8:45 AM – 6:30 PM
- One Saturday per month
- Primary location: Miami Springs
- Must be willing to travel to the Plantation office when needed
Software Experience
Experience with the following is a plus:
- Eaglesoft
- Pearl
- iTero
- Invisalign
- Carestream CT

Requirements
Qualifications
- Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification required
- Previous dental assisting experience preferred
- Current radiology certification
- Strong knowledge of infection control and sterilization protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, professional, and committed to being a team player
