Dental Assistant – Full-Time

Montclair South Dental is seeking an experienced and motivated Dental Assistant to join our growing team. We are looking for a friendly, reliable professional who is passionate about patient care and thrives in a fast-paced dental environment.


Requirements:

•  Minimum 3 years of dental assisting experience
•  Must be proficient in taking digital dental X-rays
•  Strong knowledge of infection control and sterilization protocols 
•  Excellent communication and patient care skills 
•  Ability to assist chairside during a variety of dental procedures 
•  Organized, dependable, and a team player 

Preferred Qualifications:

•  Experience with Dentrix Ascend
•  Experience with iTero digital scanning
•  Familiarity with treatment planning and patient education 
•  Bilingual is a plus 

Responsibilities:

•  Assist the dentist during procedures 
•  Take and process digital X-rays 
•  Prepare and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments 
•  Perform iTero scans (if experienced) 
•  Maintain accurate patient records 
•  Ensure a positive patient experience from start to finish
