Description:
Join our team as a Dental Assistant in New York, NY, providing comprehensive care under the supervision of a practitioner in various health settings.
This is a contract position with a full-time schedule including some weekend rotations.
Candidates should have relevant certifications and experience in dental care practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, sterilize, and organize dental instruments and equipment
Assist dentist during exams and treatments
Take and develop dental x-rays
Record patient information and treatment notes
Provide post-procedure instructions and oral hygiene education
Ensure treatment rooms are clean and stocked
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Certification from a Dental Assistant Program
CPR Certified
Bilingual in Spanish preferred
Knowledge in dental assistant field
Commitment to improving healthcare status in East Harlem
