About the Role:
Endodontic Associates of Palo Alto is looking for a skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our specialized team in the heart of the Bay Area. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced endodontists in a focused, patient-centered practice where your skills truly make a difference. Responsibilities:
  • Assist endodontists during root canal treatments, apicoectomies, and other endodontic procedures
  • Prepare and sterilize instruments, operatories, and treatment trays in accordance with infection control protocols
  • Take and process digital X-rays and CBCT scans as directed by the provider
  • Greet and prepare patients for treatment, explaining procedures to help reduce anxiety
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and clinical documentation
  • Manage inventory of dental supplies and assist with ordering as needed
  • Coordinate with front office staff to ensure smooth patient flow and scheduling
Requirements:
  • Dental Assistant certification or equivalent clinical training required
  • Current RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) license in California preferred
  • Radiation Safety certification (X-ray license) required
  • Prior experience in endodontics or a specialty dental practice is a plus
  • Proficiency with digital radiography and dental practice management software
  • Strong chairside manner with the ability to comfort anxious patients
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
  • Team-oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills
