About the Role:
Central Connecticut Endodontic is looking for a skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our growing team in West Hartford, CT! Responsibilities:
- Assist endodontists during root canal procedures and other endodontic treatments
- Prepare and sterilize instruments, operatories, and treatment trays prior to patient procedures
- Take and process digital dental X-rays and radiographs
- Greet patients, review medical histories, and provide chairside support to ensure patient comfort
- Maintain accurate patient records and document treatment notes in dental software
- Manage inventory of dental supplies and assist with ordering as needed
- Adhere to OSHA, infection control, and safety protocols at all times
Requirements:
- Prior dental assisting experience preferred; endodontic experience a plus
- Dental Assistant certification or completion of an accredited dental assisting program preferred
- Radiography certification or X-ray license required or ability to obtain
- Familiarity with dental software and electronic health records
- Strong chairside manner with a patient-first, compassionate approach
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, specialty dental environment
