Baird & Baird Family Dentistry is looking for a friendly, professional, and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team! We are a patient-focused practice dedicated to providing excellent dental care in a welcoming and supportive environment.
Location: 4595 Towne Lake Pkwy, Woodstock, GA 30189
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:30 AM–5:00 PM
Lunch: 1:00–2:00 PM
Pay: Competitive hourly rate based on experience
Qualifications
2+ years of chairside dental assisting experience preferred
Professional, friendly, and compassionate
Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented
Team-oriented with strong communication skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced dental office
Able to multitask while maintaining excellent patient care and safety
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist with examinations, treatment, and procedures
Prepare and break down operatories
Take X-rays and digital impressions/scans as permitted by state regulations
Assist with restorative procedures, crowns, bridges, fillings, extractions, and other procedures
Maintain sterilization, infection control, and OSHA/HIPAA standards
Prepare patients and provide a comfortable, positive experience
Maintain accurate patient records
Organize instruments, supplies, and equipment and monitor inventory
Provide postoperative instructions as directed
Assist with patient education and other clinical duties as needed
