The Dental Insurance Biller / Patient Care Coordinator is responsible for managing insurance claims, accounts receivable, payment posting, insurance follow -up, and assisting patients with scheduling, answering incoming calls, and coordinating appointments. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast -paced dental environment.<\/span><\/span>

Insurance & Billing<\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/span><\/span><\/h3>- Submit electronic dental insurance claims
<\/span><\/span><\/li> - Review claims for accuracy prior to submission
<\/span><\/span><\/li> - Post insurance payments and EOBs
<\/span><\/span><\/li> - Monitor and manage insurance aging reports
<\/span><\/span><\/li> - Follow up with insurance companies regarding outstanding claims
<\/span><\/span><\/li> - Appeal denied or underpaid claims
<\/span><\/span><\/li> - Correct and resubmit claims as needed
<\/span><\/span><\/li> - Maintain accurate patient financial records
<\/span><\/span><\/li> - Review accounts receivable and assist with collections
<\/span><\/span><\/li> - Document insurance communications thoroughly
<\/span><\/span><\/li> - Assist with insurance benefit verification when needed

<\/span><\/span><\/li> - Respond to patient questions regarding appointments and financial information

<\/span><\/span><\/li> - Support the clinical team with administrative tasks as needed
