CCH is looking for a dedicated Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our dental team in Georgia! In this role, you'll provide high-quality preventive and periodontal dental care while educating patients and helping them build healthier smiles and healthier lives.

What You'll Do
In this role, you will provide comprehensive dental hygiene services while maintaining the highest standards of safety, accuracy, and patient care.
Your responsibilities will include:
Perform dental cleanings, prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, selective polishing, coronal polishing, and other services within the scope of dental hygiene practice.
Perform periodontal charting and assist with periodontal treatment planning.
Obtain accurate dental radiographs while following ALARA principles.
Apply fluoride varnish, sealants, topical medications, and other preventive treatments as appropriate.
Take impressions for study casts, athletic mouth guards, custom trays, and other needs as required.
Provide individualized oral hygiene education and reinforce healthy dental habits with every patient.
Accurately document patient findings, treatment, outcomes, medical histories, medications, and vital signs in the electronic health record.
Assist the Dentist with charting, treatment recommendations, and prevention and management of dental emergencies.
Prepare, clean, disinfect, sterilize, and restock operatories and equipment according to established OSHA, CDC, and ADA standards.
Review the daily chair schedule with the Dentist and plan clinical activities accordingly.
Maintain current knowledge and skills through required continuing education and professional development.
Help support and oversee dental hygiene students.
Provide medical interpretation when appropriate and within your skill set.
Perform other duties within the Dental Program as assigned.

Required Qualifications
Associate's Degree or higher
Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) from an accredited program
Current Georgia dental hygiene license
Current BLS Certification
Radiology Certification
Ability to meet the physical and clinical requirements of the position
Commitment to maintaining all required professional credentials and continuing education
