About the Role:
Dearborn West Dental is looking for a skilled and passionate Dental Hygienist to join our growing team in Dearborn, MI! This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a patient-centered environment where your expertise and care make a real difference in people's lives every single day. 



Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing procedures for patients
• Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments, including periodontal evaluations
• Take and review dental X-rays and document findings accurately in patient records
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, home care, and preventive strategies
• Screen patients for oral cancer, gum disease, and other dental health concerns
• Collaborate with dentists to develop and implement individualized patient treatment plans
• Maintain a clean, safe, and OSHA-compliant treatment environment

Requirements:

• Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of Michigan
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience with dental practice management software preferred
• Strong knowledge of periodontal therapy and preventive dental care
• Excellent chairside manner with the ability to put patients at ease
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
