Dental Hygienist

Practice Location: Bright Choice Dental - 510 Darby Rd, Havertown, PA 19083

Perfect Work-Life Balance: This position is offered full-time and the schedule is:

• Mon, Thu: 9am-5pm
• No weekends

Pay and Benefits:

• Up to $55 per hour (for regular hygiene) + production and office bonuses
• Up to $65 per hour (for assisted hygiene) + production and office bonuses
• 401k with 3% match

Dental Hygienist Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments.
• Conduct periodontal assessments and document findings.
• Take and develop dental X-rays as needed.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventative care.
• Assist the dentist with examinations and provide chairside support when necessary.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update charts in the practice management system.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and sterilization protocols.
• Identify signs of oral diseases such as gingivitis, periodontitis, and cavities.
• Administer local anesthesia and perform scaling and root planning.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required:

• Active PA Registered Dental Hygienist license (or willingness to apply)
• New dental hygiene graduates are encouraged to apply.
