Camden Family Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality preventive and educational dental services to patients of all ages while supporting our mission of improving access to oral healthcare throughout the communities we serve. Required Qualifications - Current West Virginia Dental Hygienist license in good standing.
- Completion of West Virginia General Supervision requirements.
- Current CPR certification.
- Strong communication and patient education skills.
- Ability to independently manage patient appointments, preventive services, documentation, and patient flow while working within the scope of practice established by state law.
Preferred Qualifications - West Virginia Public Health Dental Hygiene Permit/Certification.
- Experience in a community health center, public health, or underserved setting.
Essential Responsibilities - Provide preventive dental hygiene services, including prophylaxis, periodontal assessments, radiographs, fluoride treatments, and patient education.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Identify oral health concerns and communicate findings to the dentist for treatment planning.
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and quality standards.
- Support continuity of care and access to services throughout Camden Family Health's dental program.
