SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Part-Time Dental Receptionist for a large, well-known client in Hanover Park, Il. As a Part-Time Dental Receptionist for SURESTAFF, you will work in a fast-paced distribution environment and be involved in all aspects of warehouse operations including:
- Clerical Duties and Office Support
- Warehouse Operations Support
- Administrative Duties
SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temporary employees are offered competitive compensation $18 as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire. Available shifts include Monday, Thursday, Friday and one Saturday a month from 9am to 5pm.
Part-time Dental Receptionist Responsibilities:• Answer incoming telephone calls professionally and assist patients with questions. • Schedule, confirm, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments. • Welcome patients and assist with the check-in and check-out process. • Collect and accurately enter patient and insurance information.• Contact insurance companies to verify coverage, eligibility, deductibles, and benefits• Obtain required insurance authorizations and follow up on pending claims.• Explain general insurance and payment information to patients. • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records. • Collect copayments and patient balances when required. • Communicate appointment reminders and follow up with patients. • Coordinate with dentists, hygienists, and other office staff. • Follow HIPAA requirements and protect confidential patient information. • Perform general office duties, including filing, scanning, emailing, and data entry.• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area. • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications• High school diploma or equivalent required. • Previous dental, medical office, receptionist, or customer-service experience preferred. • Dental insurance verification experience preferred. • Strong telephone, communication, and customer-service skills.• Basic computer and data-entry skills.• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a busy office. • Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented. • Ability to communicate respectfully with patients, insurance representatives, and coworkers.• Knowledge of HIPAA and patient-confidentiality requirements is preferred.• Bilingual skills are a plus but are not required unless specifically stated for the position. • Ability to occasionally stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 15 pounds.
